It works great as a judo suit for beginners and younger people. But it is also used as a jujutsu suit (jiujitsu suit) in jujutsu styles with combat elements and then mainly for beginners and younger people. 

The suit can also be used for beginner training in BJJ (Brazilian jiu-jitsu), however, you should bear in mind that the sleeves are a little longer than in BJJ suits. 

When choosing a size, keep in mind that the suit trousers shrink 3-5% (when washed at 60 degrees) in length and that the jacket’s sleeves shrink by the same amount. Other dimensions shrink very little.
